During graduate school, the advisor-advisee relationship is one of the most important relationships students have. Advisors can help their advisees get published, secure funding, and make professional contacts, not to mention complete their degrees in a timely manner and line up a job afterwards. Whether you're a first year student choosing an advisor or a continuing student hoping to make the most of your relationship with your advisor, this hour-long session will help you manage the dynamics of this important, but often tricky, relationship.
